Edale, a Canon company, a manufacturer of flexographic carton and label presses, has increased its presence in the EMEA markets with the appointment of Gary Roberts as head of sales, EMEA.

The appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to provide greater engagement with customers on a global basis and is set to drive Edale’s growth in the European, Middle East, and Africa markets. Roberts has almost three decades of experience in the packaging industry. He previously held a leadership position at W H Leary Company, a supplier of adhesive application solutions in the folding carton industry.

Roberts is the third recent appointment as Edale has moved to bolster its sales presence, following the appointments of Ryan Barrett, head of sales for the APAC region, and Dave Boyle, service sales manager.
